Marcus Grönholm (born 5 February 1968) is a Finnish rally driver.
The twice World Rally Champion of 2000 and 2002 won Monte Carlo in 2006 (on his début at the Ford works team) at the 7th time of asking, and was the only driver to interrupt Sébastien Loeb's streak of wins between 2003 and 2008. This happened when Loeb crashed on stage 1, eliminating all hope of victory for the fourth consecutive year, as Tommi Mäkinen had previously achieved in 2002. To make up for that, the three-time defending Monte winner had a string of good stage results to retake second place, but could not overtake his rival, thus his streak was broken. Grönholm then became the first driver to win this event for Ford since Patrick Bernardini in 1996.
In 2007, Grönholm returned to the podium, finishing in third place.
Ironically Grönholm did not make his proper debut in the Monte until his first title winning season of 2000.
