Daniel Elena (born 26 October 1972) is a Monegasque rally co-driver, currently working with Sébastien Loeb. Between them, the pair have won the World Rally Championship nine times, and currently compete with the Citroën DS3 WRC. Seventy-eight World rally wins (all of them with Loeb) make him the co-driver with the most victories in the history of the WRC.
Career[]
His first attempt at the Monte came in 1997, as a driver, in the Challenge Prince Albert de Monaco driving a Peugeot 106 Rallye. Since 2001, he made his co-driving debut with Sébastien Loeb and they won this event 7 times.
Elena also regularly competes in the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, finishing 6th most recently in the VW Golf GTi.
